Another recipe with plums, which was born when I made too much plum juice. So, here’s a tip: If you have too much juice, freeze it in an ice cream maker, and BAM – now you have sorbet instead!
Plum Ice Cream
Equipment
- Ice cream maker
Ingredients
- 750 g plums (about 10-12)
- 3 dl water
- 250 g sugar
Instructions
- Rinse the plums, cut them in half and remove the seed
- Pour all ingredients in a pan and boil for 10-15 min
- Remove the plum pulp by pouring it through a strainer
- Pour the plum juice in a ice cream maker and make according to instructions on the machine
- Pour in a container and store in the freezer
