It’s been a hot week in the Netherlands (where I currently am), so I decided to make more limonade! This time with lime. The recipe is almost the same as the recipe on regular limonade I posted a couple of weeks ago. Again, I like my limonade sour, so you might consider adding less lime juice if sour is not your thing
Lime lemonade
Ingredients
- 2½ dl water
- 2½ dl sugar
- 3½ dl lime juice freshly squeezed from 12-14 limes
- 5 dl cold water
Instructions
- Warm sugar and 2½ dl water in a saucepan until the sugar has dissolved
- Remove the mixture from the heat and pour into a clean bottle with the rest of the water (the 5 dl)
- Squeeze lime juice and pour this in the bottle, too
- Shake the bottle and refrigerate
