Blackcurrant juice

Ingredients
  

  • 700 g blackcurrant
  • 7 dl water
  • 350 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the blackcurrants and put them in a pot of water and bring to a boil
  • Let blackcurrants and water simmer under a lid for about 20 min
  • Sieve blackcurrants through a cotton cloth placed in a sieve
  • Pour the sifted juice in a clean saucepan with sugar and vanilla essence
  • Bring the juice to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes under a lid
  • Pour the juice into a bottle and store in the refrigerator
  • Serve in a glass with 1:1 of water versus juice
