Sweet Pickled Celery

Equipment

  • ¼ L jar

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g celery
  • 100 g sugar
  • ½ dl water
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinnegar
  • ½ tsp lemon juice freshly squeezed

Instructions
 

  • Mix sugar, water, vinegar and lemon juice and boil in a saucepan until the sugar has dissolved
  • Chop celery into small pieces and add to the saucepan
  • Cook celery for 3-5 min until they have softened a little (but still is firm)
  • Immediately pour into atamon-rinsed jam jars and close the lid
