Rinse the red currants and put them in a pot of water and bring to a boil
Let currants and water simmer under a lid for about 20 min
Sieve red currants through a cotton cloth placed in a sieve
Pour the sifted juice in a clean saucepan with sugar and vanilla essence
Bring the juice to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes under a lid
Pour the juice into a bottle and store in the refrigerator
Serve in a glass with 1:1 of water versus juice
