Blackcurrant Jam

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg blackcurrants
  • 600 g sugar
  • dl water
  • 2 letters of vegan gel or 8g agar agar

Instructions
 

  • Rinse blackcurrants and remove any stems
  • Put the blackcurrants in a saucepan and cook for 5 min while stirring
  • Add sugar to the saucepan and cook for another 10 minutes while stirring
  • Whisk the boiling water and gel together and pour in the pan as well
  • Continue to cook the jam for 2 more min while stirring until the jam begins to thicken
  • Then pour the jam into clean jars and store them in a cool place
