Rinse blackcurrants and remove any stems
Put the blackcurrants in a saucepan and cook for 5 min while stirring
Add sugar to the saucepan and cook for another 10 minutes while stirring
Whisk the boiling water and gel together and pour in the pan as well
Continue to cook the jam for 2 more min while stirring until the jam begins to thicken
Then pour the jam into clean jars and store them in a cool place
