Cut the chilies into pieces and remove the green stem
Mix schnapps, licorice roots, licorice and chili in the glass bottle and shake thoroughly
Let the schnapps infuce in a dark place (e.g. in the basement) for 2 weeks - shake every few days
Filter out licorice and chilies (e.g. through a tea filter)
Rinse the licorice roots and tear them apart (if they are soft enough for you to do this)
Put the licorice roots in the schnapps again and let it soak for another 2 weeks
The schnapps is now ready for serving
