Whisk the sugar and milk together in a bowl
Melt the butter in a pan and whisk it into the batter
Stir flour and baking powder together
Add flour to the dough and mix thoroughly
Grease the cake tin with a bit of vegetable oil
Pour the batter into the cake tin
Rinse the blackcurrants, remove any stems
Pour the blackcurrants on top of the dough and press them lightly into the dough
Bake the cake at 200° C for 35 min
